Gadolinium

So, in the last post I uploaded a video from the FDA that was a really informative piece on what Gadolinium is and how it can seriously hurt a persons body.

Anyway back to the point… Below is part 1 of our Gadolinium show. We discuss how when a patient gets an MRI they are sometimes injected with a contrast that contains the chemical and how that can be detrimental to your health.

Chemically casued health problems…

MRI contrasts that that contain a chemical known as Gadolinium may be causing serious injuries to the skin and kidneys. The FDA has warned of a link between Gadolinium and a rare and potentially fatal disorder known as Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF).

Patients that have undergone MRIs and had Gadolinium injected into their bodies may exhibit symptoms such as burning or itching skin and muscle and joint weakness which can lead to kidney failure, disability and death.

One of the most sobering facts is that there is no known cure for NSF…more information about Gadolinium is on the way.
